Kerzner International’s groundbreaking brand SIRO makes its mark in Europe

SIRO Hotels, Kerzner International’s disruptive and immersive brand, announces that its second hotel, SIRO Boka Placeis now open. Positioned in Porto Montenegro’s Boka Bay, the hotel brings to Europe a paradigm-shifting guest experience with fitness and recovery at its core. The launch of SIRO Boka Place follows the successful opening of the brand’s first-ever hotel, SIRO One Za’abeel, in Dubai in 2024.

SIRO is a trailblazing concept and is built on the foundation of five core biohacking pillars – nutrition, fitness, sleep, recovery, and mindfulness. Kerzner International’s unveiling of the brand with  SIRO One Za’abeel in Dubai set standards for the next era of hospitality by blending cutting-edge technology into a fully integrated philosophy. This experience at SIRO Boka Place evolves to embrace multigenerational exploration, crafting opportunities for shared moments and journeys discovering the rich tapestry of Montenegro.

Featuring an expansive Fitness Lab with state-of-the-art facilities, alongside a one-of-a-kind Recovery Lab offering holistic classes, and advanced treatments, and a 25-metre outdoor swimming pool, the hotel offers access to a team of in-house experts and experiences that accommodate diverse ages and ability sets, making Adriatic living accessible to all guests.

SIRO Boka Place is located within the buzzing neighbourhood of Porto Montengero – brimming with eatries, boutiques, galleries and beach clubs. Offtering minimalist, open-plan spaces, each room, suite and apartment, seamlessly integrates holistic wellness, intuitively adapts to the guest’s needs and is designed as a sanctuary of calm and serenity.

A first for the brand, SIRO Apartments are thoughtfully designed with studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom offerings. Ideal for longer stays and family getaways, they have fully-equipped kitchens, spacious living areas, and access to hotel facilities.

Framing sweeping views of Kotor Bay, each space is soundproofed with sleep and recovery optimising features, including temperature-regulating mattresses, blackout curtains and a curated pillow menu. In true SIRO fashion, all spaces have a Swedish ladder and an in-room recovery cabinet stocked with essentials like a yoga mat, stretch bands, and a meditation cushion, enabling guests to enhance their recuperation.

The Adriatic Meets Active Living

Harnessing the untamed wilds of Montenegro to create exceptional opportunities for every guest, Destination Fitness experiences at SIRO Boka Place are the ultimate gateway to the country’s active adventures. Guests are granted exclusive access to tailored tours, excursions, courses and activities all year, with variations graded to suit everyone from novice enthusiasts to seasoned veterans.

From scenic nature walks to high-octane pursuits and family-friendly excursions, the hotel will create experiences that are tailor-made to challenge and inspire. Nothing is overlooked, from providing dedicated coaching with state-of-the-art equipment to prepare guests ahead of their outdoor adventure, including sunscreen and electrolytes in hiking packs or arranging specialised aftercare through SIRO’s pioneering Recovery Lab.

By working with SIRO and in harmony with like-minded participants, athletes are given the resources and assistance needed to push past limits and break new ground.

Covering over 1,600 square metres of the hotel’s first floor, the Fitness Lab is a space curated for functional fitness, complete with specialised studios, Master Trainers and a robust schedule of exclusive group classes. The sleek studio spaces, within the Fitness Lab include the Experience Box, the Mindfulness Studio, Pilates Reform, performance-driven training zones, and a climate-controlled 25-metre swimming pool with a retractable roof.

The Experience Box is designed for high-intensity interval training (HIIT) and SIRO Signature Classes, including Power, Sculpt, and Booty Sessions, a sought-after schedule of signature and bespoke programming. The Experience Box features functional equipment for boxing and suspension trainers. It also offers unique masterclasses from Team SIRO ambassadors, including Functional Fitness by AC Milan and Boxing Fitness by the pro boxer Ramla Ali.

A Holistic Recovery of Body & Mind

SIRO Boka Place’s Recovery Lab encourages guests to focus on deep revitalisation, keeping bodies in peak condition by unifying mindfulness with scientific practice. Compression therapy, physiotherapy, percussive therapy, red light therapy, IV therapy and vibroacoustic therapy ease the stresses of workouts alongside treatments such as myofascial cupping, dry needling, and assisted stretching or modular massage by Proverb.

The Mindfulness studio offers specialised yoga, meditation and breathwork classes, placing mental well-being at the forefront. Recovery pods, which incorporate meditation and mindfulness through visuals, scent infusion and heat therapy, provide opportunities to disconnect and reflect. The Zen Room features a Himalayan salt wall, emitting negative ions to purify the air and equalise nervous systems.

At SIRO Boka Place, the dedication to nutritional health extends beyond considered choices from á la carte menus into personally tailored journeys. SIRO’s balanced culinary experience encourages guests to enjoy food and drinks and welcome a nourishing diet that complements their lifestyle. The hotel’s in-house nutritionists ensure guests have the fuel and balance for long-lasting results.

Presenting dining for the first time at SIRO – the brand’s first-ever F&B concepts unite optimised nutrition with social connection. Experienced chefs and expert nutritionists work hand-in-hand to create macro-friendly meals and vitalising bites, promoting healthy habits enriched with playful treats. SIRO Table, serving guests all day, presents delicately balanced Mediterranean specialities to sumptuous Balkan Delights. At the same time, SIRO Social pours low- and no-alcohol cocktails alongside organic and natural wines paired with healthy tapas on the rooftop overlooking Kotor Bay.

The Refuel Bar, SIRO’s unique grab-and-go concept, offers an extensive selection of customisable shakes, along with healthy snacks and countertop delicacies. In addition, the hotel provides 24-hour in-room modular dining that caters to individual requirements.
